Meet Michelle

Eat your way to a happier, healthier you, with professional dietary  advice and support from Michelle Lake, registered nutritional therapist and founder of Mission Nutrition. Michelle is an experienced nutritional therapist who sees clients at her home in Sandridge or Ginger Natural Health, a complementary health clinic in the heart of St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Michelle has a practical, friendly  approach, and clients include men, women and children with issues such as digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, weight difficulties, sluggish circulation, poor skin, mood swings and low energy. She will also work with other health professionals, including GPs and consultants, to support clients with complex medical needs.

Scientific research has shown that diet and lifestyle play a huge part in many health problems ranging from lack of energy and digestive problems through to heart disease and infertility. Mission Nutrition will advise you on the right food and supplements for your needs, so that you can take control of your own health.

Michelle has an established track record in helping clients throughout Hertfordshire. She trained for four years at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition on its internationally acclaimed nutritional therapy course. She is a member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy). Plus she’s registered with the CNHC (the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). Michelle regularly attends conferences and seminars to keep up-to-date with the very latest in nutritional research. She hosts engaging presentations about nutrition for schools, businesses and other organisations.

Michelle strongly believes that healthy eating can dramatically change your life. She is delighted when clients witness this first hand and hopes that her own experience will also inspire others, who are ‘too busy’ to prioritise their diet. Before her training, she was a marketing manager existing on coffee, sandwiches and take-aways. Her energy was low and she suffered from frequent colds. A new healthy diet and lifestyle not only gave her masses of energy and cut down the infections but also gave her the passion to pursue a career in nutrition.

‘I’ve lost weight and feel great’

Ann from St Albans, a 41 year old mum of two, says:
“Since I saw you three months ago, I have not had a flare up of my arthritis (which I used to get every six weeks). I have made very small changes to my diet and definitely have more vitality and fewer energy dips. Plus without ‘dieting’, I’m now half a stone lighter and feel great. Thanks, Michelle!”
