Perky porridge

Spice up your porridge by stirring in a few sultanas, sprinkling with a teaspoon of cinnamon and grating over some apple. Cinnamon has been shown to help balance blood sugar so will help to keep up your energy levels through the cold winter mornings. Make with your choice of cow’s, goat’s, soya or rice milk.

Tip: Stir in some pear and apple spread for added wow power…
